models becomes destabilized when using the Zuiko Digital ED 12-60mm F2.8-4.0
SWD.
On this note, Olympus is offering detailed inspection and whatever
necessary repair, at no charges, for lenses bearing serial numbers between 230008790~230008795, 230008804,
230008806~230008808,and 230008810~230008812 marked on the lens as shown on the
diagram below.
If you find your lens requires immediate attention, please

Phenomenon When capturing the subject, the auto-focus function becomes
unstable, or sometimes may not work at all. However, when using the Manual
focus, the focus function works properly.
Possible Cause There could be a fault related to the manufacturing process
of the auto-focusing drive.
